I think Emerson is trying to say that you must stay true to yourself and trust your own beliefs. One can only be a "genius" if they know themselves well enough to go with their own knowledge, instead of doing what others choose. Following your heart or feelings is usually the most obvious/logical choice (and also the most cliche), but can also be overrun by how different people view the same subject. Therefore, Emerson is stating that if you believe something is true, without a doubt in your mind, then you can never be wrong.
Great Response! However, there are a few areas in which you are able to improve on. First, I think you should have a seperate paragraph for your conclusion. So readers are able to read and clearly know that you have a conclusion. Secondly, I think you should provide an example so readers know and may follow your definition of the quote. Nevertheless, it was a great response! keep up the good work.
